Riba : Road to hell

bismillah.gif
In the name of Allah, the Most-Merciful, the All-Compassionate assalam.gif
“May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You”

Praise be to Allaah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allaah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allaah leaves astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allaah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

Riba: Road to hell

The chapter of Riba in the religion of Islam is of a sublime significance. For a believer to stay away from this, one has to know about it in a detail. The evil tree of usury is getting watered day by day by the followers of all religions; be it Christianity, Judaism and Islam.

The monster is growing at a hell pace. Though the true teachings of all these religions strongly condemn and prohibit usury in their original versions. Later the clerics of Jews and Christian churches abandoned the prohibitions relating to Riba (interest, usury).

The present world is filled with the filth of Riba. It has become almost impossible for an individual to stay away from this evil. Over 90% of the financial transactions that are carried in todays world contain partial or complete essence of riba in it.

Prophet Sallallahu alaihe wasallm had warned 1400 years ago: A time will certainly come over the people when none will remain who will not devour usury. If he does not devour it, its vapors will overtake him. (Ahmed, Abu Dawood, Nisai, Ibn Majah).

In simple words Riba can be defined as a loan with the condition that the borrower will return to the lender more and better than the quantity borrowed.

The literal meaning of interest or Al-RIBA as it is used in the Arabic language means to excess or increase.

In the Islamic terminology interest means effortless profit or that profit which comes free from compensation or that extra earning obtained that is free of exchange.

The Holy Quran is also very tough on the chapter of usury. Quran says “Those who devour usury will not stand except as stands one whom the Satan by his touch has driven to madness. That is because they say, “trade is like usury”, but Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden usury”, (Surah Al-Baqarah verse no.275)

“Oh who believe! Devour not usury doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah that you may prosper.”
(Surah Al-Imran, verse no.130)

That they took usury though they were forbidden and they devoured peoples wealth wrongfully; we have prepared for those amongst them who reject faith a grievous chastisement.” (Surah Al-Nisaa verse 161)

Allah never said that He and His messenger would wage war against one who commits any evil deed except Riba. Allah SWT says “If you do not, take notice of war from Allah and his Messenger but if you repent you shall have your capital sum. Deal not unjustly and you shall not be dealt with unjustly.”(Surah Al-Baqarah verse no.279).

One can easily understand the magnitude of the crime through the above mentioned verses of Holy Quran.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu alaihe wasallm said: Usury has seventy divisions. The easiest division of them is like a man marrying his mother (Ibn Majah).

Again in another tradition Prophet Sallallahu alaihe wasallm said: A dirham of usury that a man devours and he knows, is greater than 36 fornications (Ahmed).

In one tradition prophet said, “This night I dreamt that two men came and took me to a Holy land whence we proceeded on till we reached a river of blood, where a man was standing, and on its bank was standing another man with stones in his hands.

The man in the middle of the river tried to come out, but the other threw a stone in his mouth and forced him to go back to his original place.

So, whenever he tried to come out, the other man would throw a stone in his mouth and force him to go back to his former place.

I asked, Who is this?’
I was told, ‘The person in the river was a Riba-eater
.”

Apart from the one who gives and one who accepts interest, the person who writes the transaction or the one who bears the witness are also equally culpable.

Hazrat Jabir R.A. has reported that the messenger of Allah PBUH cursed the devourer of usury, its payer, its scribe and its two witnesses. He also said that they were equal (in sin).

One fact that we must always remember is that ALLAH has bestowed us a very short life in this world and within this period, we have to achieve milestones.

The biggest of all the milestones is paradise, which is our ultimate goal. Riba, for sure puts one into hell forever.

Know All About The Second Islamic Month of Safar

http://talibiddeenjr.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/safar.jpg

Remember that our deen is Islam which guides us about each and every aspect of life. We only can find these guide lines in Quraan and Sunnah (the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad).

Get the truth about the month of Safar and know that there are no Superstitions, bad omens, unfortunate, Calamities, Prohibition of marriage related to this month.

Month of Safar is the second month in Islamic calendar.

Safar literally means whistling of winds.
This name was given because of the weather condition of that time.

What events took place in the history of month of Safar?

1: The Beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad (saw) Fatima (R.A) married Ali (R.A) in this month.
2: Prophet Muhammad fell sick in the end of this month and died in the same sickness in the next month in 12th of Rabiul-Awwal.
3: Ghazwa-e- Khaiber (battle) took place in the same month.
4: Battle of Abwaa also took place in month of Safar.

What is the misconception about Safar?

Unlucky happenings such as Diseases, curses, evils, loss in business and all the misfortunes are relayed to that month. People try to apply many tricks to protect themselves from all the misfortunes, but this concept is nothing more than a misconception based upon the poor knowledge of Islam.

No Muslim should fell into these conceptions which had no foundations on truth.

What Prophet Muhammad guides us about Safar?

Prophet Muhammad said about Safar;“No adwaa [transmission of infectious
disease
without the permission of Allah], no tiyarah [superstitious belief in bird omens], no haamah [refers to a Jaahili Arab tradition described variously as: a worm that infests the grave of a murder victim until he is avenged; an owl; or the bones of a dead person turned into a bird that could fly], and no Safar [the month of Safar was regarded as “unlucky” in the Jaahiliyyah].”

[Translators notes are in square brackets]. (Reported by al-Bukhari, 5757, and Muslim, 2220)

What does the companions of prophet Muhammad (sahabah) said about this month?

Jaabir (R.A) very clearly mentions about the superstitions and the wrong concept of Safar:
“I have heard the Prophet saying, the descending of illness and evil superstition befalling in the month of Safar is untrue.” (Muslim)

What Quraan says about month of Safar?

Quraan explicitly rejects this concept of bad omen by saying;

And [for] every person We have imposed his fate upon his neck, and We will produce for him on the Day of Resurrection a record which he will encounter spread open. [It will be said], “Read your record. Sufficient is yourself against you this Day as accountant.”
(13, 14 sura bani israeel)

What comes to you of good is from Allah, but what comes to you of evil, [O man], is from yourself. And We have sent you, [O Muhammad], to the people as a messenger, and sufficient is Allah as Witness.
(79 surah anisa)

There is no bad omens,or calamities in any person or any month or any date or number in Islam. If some thing wrong happens with someone it is due to their evil deeds. We have to work on our self to remove calamities from our life.

~ Ways to Increase Imaan ~

Bismillah63.jpg
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

https://i1.wp.com/img101.imageshack.us/img101/8060/aoa01bbxr9.gif
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barkatuh!https://i1.wp.com/img697.imageshack.us/img697/2845/z4bb106d43d26e.gif

https://i1.wp.com/img697.imageshack.us/img697/2845/z4bb106d43d26e.gif

SIGNS OF WEAK IMAAN
1. Committing sins and not feeling any guilt.
2. Having a hard heart and no desire to read the Quran.
3. Feeling too lazy to do good deeds, e.g. being late for Salat.
4. Neglecting the Sunnah.
5. Having mood swings, for instance being upset about petty things
and bothered and irritated most of the time.
6. Not feeling anything when hearing verses from the Qur’an,
for example when Allah warns us of punishments and His promise of glad tidings.
7. Finding difficulty in remembering Allah and making Dhikr.
8. Not feeling bad when things are done against the Shariah.
9. Desiring status and wealth.
10. Being mean and miserly, i.e. not wanting to part with wealth.
11. Ordering others to do good deeds when not practising them ourselves.
12. Feeling pleased when things are not progressing for others.
13. Making fun of people who do simple good deeds, like cleaning the mosque.
14. Not feeling concerned about the situation of Muslims.
15. Not feeling the responsibility to do something to promote Islam.
16. Being unable to deal with calamities, for instance crying and yelling in funerals.
17. Liking to argue just for the sake of arguing without any proof.
18. Becoming engrossed and very involved with dunya, worldly things,
i.e. feeling bad only when losing something in terms of material wealth.
19. Becoming engrossed and obsessive about ourselves.

WAYS TO INCREASE OUR IMAAN

1. Recite and ponder on the meanings of the Qur’an.
Tranquillity then descends and our hearts become soft.
To get optimum benefit, remind yourself that Allah is speaking to you.
People are described in differentcategories in the Quran;
think of which one you find yourself in.

2. Realize the greatness of Allah. Everything is under His control.
There are signs in everything we see that points us to His greatness.
Everything happens according to His permission.
Allah keeps track and looks after everything,
even a black ant on a black rock on a black moonless night.

3. Make an effort to gain knowledge.
People who have Taqwa are those who have knowledge.

4. Attend gatherings where Allah is remembered.
In such gatherings we are surrounded by angels.

5. We have to increase our good deeds.
One good deed leads to another good deed.
Allah will make the way easy for someone who gives charity
and also make it easy for him or her to do good deeds.
Good deeds must be done continuously, not in spurts.

6. We must fear the miserable end to our lives;
the remembrance of death is the destroyer of pleasures.

7. Remember the different levels of akhirah,
for instance when we are put in our graves, when we are judged,
whether we will be in paradise or hell.

8. Make Dua, realize that we need Allah. Be humble.
Don’t covet material things in this life.

9. Our love for ALLAH Subhana Wa Tuala must be shownin actions.
We must hope Allah will accept our prayers,
and be in constant fear that we do wrong.
At night before going to sleep,
we must think about what good we did during that day.

10. Realize the effects of sins and disobedience-
one’s Iman is increased with good deeds and
our Iman is decreased by bad deeds.
Everything that happens is because Allah wanted it.
When calamity befalls us- it is also from Allah.
It is a direct result of our disobedience to Allah.
Aisha (Razi Allahu anhaa), the wife of Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam), reported
Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihe wassalam) as saying:
“Kindness is not to be found in anything but that it adds to its beauty
and it is not withdrawn from anything but it makes it defective.”
(Narrated in Sahih Muslim, Book 3, Number 6274)

“Riches does not mean having a great amount of property;

real wealth is self-contentment” .
(Sahih Bukhari Book 81, Chapter 15)

Share this POST with maximum number of people you can.
Guiding one soul to knowledge and faith
is a momentous achievement.
It is what will earn us great blessings.
(Insha Allah)

Jazak Allahu khairan !
